Review of Medal of Honor (2010)

It’s no secret that after the stunning success of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” from Infinity Ward, Electronic Arts also urgently wanted to update its famous brand (the first part of the cult series “Medal of Honor” appeared in 1999 on PS 1), but did it benefit it..

The new part of “Medal of Honor” is based on real combat operations carried out in Afghanistan by the US Army and the “Tier 1” special forces, and we will actually be offered to play for them.

Here it is clear that https://jackpotlinerukcasino.co.uk/ “MOH” is bending over backwards to be similar to “Modern Warfare 2”! The same ragged presentation of the plot, style, “rail” single with director’s inserts. But if YOU KNOW WHO was filled with just crazy dynamics, then the first half of the game is either boring or wildly boring! Leaden squabbles with the Taliban more than once in my thoughts refer to budget crafts like CITY Interactive (the graphics will only be prettier). Well, when in a mission where you and your comrades need to defend yourself in a dilapidated hut from an advancing horde, you see “spirits” appearing straight out of thin air, you begin to strongly doubt that EA was responsible for the project. And the staged scenes are absolutely not impressive.

But from the second part the authors seem to wake up and the skirmishes become more and more interesting and faster, there are more and more truly interesting situations. Well, the last two tasks, in addition, are even supported by a rather strong drama! The wonderful soundtrack of Linkin Park completes it all.

In fact, even multiplayer deserved more blows than single player! Incredibly small maps, on which even vehicles have no room to turn around, only three classes for which you can play! That’s all that the multiplayer part of Medal of Honor has to offer. And it was created by DICE? The authors of the wonderful “Bad Company 2”? I don’t believe it! Of course, he can captivate you for a few days, but why?? After all, there is still the same “Bad Company 2” and “Modern Warfare 2”?

You can spend a couple of evenings watching the new “Medal of Honor”, but it doesn’t look like a worthy successor to the great series! Eh…if the whole game was as interesting and dramatic as its second half, and DICE took multiplayer more seriously, then there would be no stone left unturned from the notorious “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2”, but alas..
