Review of the anime “Planet of Wanderers”.
Among the anime there are frankly a lot of passers-by that amuse a little, but nothing more and only waste time. And so, while watching a bunch of passable TV series, sometimes you come across really worthy representatives because of which you continue to watch and look for these masterpieces. And one of the last such masterpieces I watched was the series “Planet of Wanderers” or “Planetes” in the original. That’s what we’ll talk about.
The plot tells the story of ordinary workers in space who remove space debris and meanwhile sort out their relationships and everyone strives for their dreams, overcoming the difficulties encountered along the way. At first glance, the plot may not seem too serious, but it contains many references to serious issues. Quite a lot of the acute international relations between highly developed countries and third world countries are shown. Section of energy and vital resources. And problems with terrorism. But he is not always serious, there are also many simply funny scenes that are pleasing and relaxing.
Unlike most science fiction, Planetes is incredibly realistic. We are shown many diseases that threaten people in space and difficulties awaiting humanity in space. One of the clear examples of this is a girl who was born on the moon and looks more like an adult girl than a 12 year old girl. The series is also full of references to real historical facts of space exploration and to pioneers such as Tsiolkovsky, Von Braun and others.
The characters were designed simply superbly, I literally believed that they were as alive as myself. By the end of the series I was overwhelmed with emotions. I was worried and happy, literally living the lives of the characters. And this shows how well the authors managed to develop the characters, convey their feelings, emotions and character.
Drawing also played a significant role in perception. It looks very harmonious in this genre and environment. Excellent drawing of details of mechanisms and equipment. It is very easy to understand and does not require getting used to.
The musical accompaniment is also pleasing. Quite standard pop themes in the opening and ending, but there are also very charming and exciting compositions in the series itself. The soundtrack deserves no less attention. As I said above, the series is very realistic and this also applies to sounds. In all the scenes in outer space, we only hear what the characters themselves hear. The dull sound of engines transmitted through the body of the spacesuit and the voices of partners heard from the headphones, and in space itself there was pitch silence.
Watching works like this, I realize how much I like space. This is a boundless space filled with silence and cold. But at the same time it is full of miracles and beauty, light and warmth. I’m attracted to this romance of loneliness. Also well shown in “The Voice of a Distant Star” by Makoto Shinkai. Weightlessness would be great, even if it weren’t so bad for your health. I would advise showing these to children for educational purposes. Otherwise, in my opinion, some will be completely dumbfounded by Hollywood blockbusters with their disregard for physics. While watching, I was reminded of the wonderful Western film “Titan after the Death of the Earth”. They were even created just a few years apart.
Overall, a very, very good series and a must-watch for science fiction fans.
Constructive criticism is welcome. I want to understand in which direction I should improve.

The series is very, very https://viper-casino.co.uk/bonus/ good. About criticism. To be honest, your work is not worthy of a review, so it would be better to call it an impression or an express review. You have gone through each component in passing; some incompleteness is felt. Pictures could be added under the spoiler (since there is not a lot of text material). And thank you for your, as I understand it, first work.
B-class really bothered me while watching it. The series, despite all its merits, was initially made “just for fans of the genre”, because it really can’t offer anything other than realism – the plot is globally weak, and the characters are often caricatures (six thirty-year-old slackers who imagine themselves to be samurai) and, in general, very formulaic for anime (the main character, a maximalist-idealistic girl).
But nevertheless, I give it its due, it’s really terribly realistic about space. They constantly tell interesting things about pseudo-gravity, typical space diseases and how everything is there in general.
There are spelling and punctuation errors (especially in delivery). There is some inappropriate parcellation in the second paragraph.
“Drawing also played a significant role in perception. It looks very harmonious in this genre and environment. Excellent drawing of details of mechanisms and equipment. It is very easy to understand and does not require getting used to."An unpleasant repetition happened.
“Otherwise, in my opinion, some will be completely dumbfounded by Hollywood blockbusters with their disregard for physics."Such an emotionally charged sentence stands out from the general style of the text.
In general, read more, including your texts, before publishing. Honestly, it feels like you didn’t re-read it after writing it.

I’m just thinking about what to watch when I finish watching Titans. Maybe I’ll try this series. Thanks for the story.
Not the first, but one of the few. I myself have always found it difficult to give a clear definition of what I write, but I, too, have always been inclined to be impressed by what I saw. In the public, people said that this was a review. That’s why I wrote it like this. I didn’t really set out to go into details, so yes, this is a superficial impression.
For what? There are already a lot of them, but so far only one OVA has come out of the new one, there’s nothing special to review or review yet.
Yes, it was like that. By the way, Dinosaur’s comment, as for me, gives almost a more capacious description of the series than the post itself.
Greetings, friend) Exactly. When I started watching, I thought that there would be a light story about a magic school or something, I started watching and… My surprise knew no bounds, in general)
I finished watching Death Note, I would have been better off not watching it. What do you recommend from not too long anime in the science fiction or fantasy genre?.
UPD: When I tried to remember an old anime on the theme of space, I had in mind “Royal Space Force” or “Wings of Honneamiz”, but then my thought wandered to something later.
